Option 1 (High-Level Hire)
Growth Marketing Manager (Email, SMS & Fundraising Focus)

Role Overview
CelebrateMercy is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to lead and optimize our digital marketing and fundraising efforts across key campaigns and seasons.
This is a high-impact, collaborative role where you will work closely with the Marketing Director to translate strategy into execution – building and optimizing campaigns, improving donor journeys, and strengthening the systems that support our growth.
You will play a key role in turning engagement into meaningful action – especially through high-performing email and SMS campaigns.
What You’ll Own
Campaign Performance & Revenue Growth
Execute and optimize major campaigns throughout the year and in close partnership with the Marketing Director
Improve conversion rates across email, SMS, landing pages, and donation flows
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and engagement across campaigns
Copywriting & Messaging
Write and optimize email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns, particularly for fundraising and program promotion
Apply direct-response and donor psychology principles to drive action
Test and refine messaging (subject lines, hooks, CTAs) based on performance
Ensure all messaging aligns with direction and final approvals from the Marketing Director
Lifecycle Marketing & Donor Journeys
Build and optimize email/SMS funnels (welcome, donor follow-up, re-engagement)
Segment audiences based on behavior, engagement, and giving history
Improve donor retention and recurring giving
Conversion Optimization
Audit and improve landing pages (Kajabi + GiveCloud)
Run A/B tests across messaging, layout, and user flows
Reduce drop-off across registration and donation journeys
Analytics & Systems
Own tracking and performance analysis (UTMs, GA4, platform analytics)
Build simple dashboards and translate data into actionable insights
Strengthen backend systems (Kajabi, Zapier) for scalability and reliability
Working Relationship
Work in close partnership with the Marketing Director, who sets overall strategy and messaging direction
Translate strategic priorities into execution, while maintaining alignment through regular planning and review
Operate with ownership over execution and optimization within defined strategic guardrails

Higher conversion rates across key campaigns
Improved donor retention and repeat giving
Strong, consistent email and SMS performance
Campaigns executed with greater foresight and less reactivity
Clear visibility into marketing performance and impact
Qualifications
Required
3–6+ years in digital marketing, growth marketing, or lifecycle marketing
Strong copywriting skills (email/SMS), with proven ability to drive conversions
Experience building and optimizing marketing funnels
Familiarity with analytics and performance tracking (GA4, UTMs)
Ability to think strategically and execute independently
A sincere interest in the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and a desire to contribute to work that helps others know, love, and follow him
Preferred
Experience in nonprofit or fundraising environments
Familiarity with Kajabi, Zapier, or similar tools

Marketing Specialist (Campaigns, Email & SMS)

Role Overview
CelebrateMercy is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the execution of our digital marketing and fundraising campaigns.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will work very closely with the Marketing Director to build, launch, and maintain campaigns across email, SMS, and landing pages.
You will play a key role in ensuring campaigns are executed smoothly, on time, and with attention to detail – especially during high-impact seasons like Ramadan.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Execution
Build and schedule email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns based on direction from the Marketing Director
Create and update landing pages (Kajabi + GiveCloud)
Execute campaign calendars and timelines
Copywriting Support
Draft email and SMS campaigns for fundraising and program promotion
Edit and refine messaging based on feedback from the Marketing Director
Assist in testing subject lines, hooks, and CTAs
Marketing Operations
Set up UTMs and ensure accurate tracking
Maintain tagging, lists, and segmentation in Kajabi
Support automation setup through Zapier and related tools
Lifecycle Marketing Support
Help implement email/SMS sequences (welcome, donor follow-up, re-engagement)
Maintain and update existing funnels
Assist with audience segmentation
Performance Tracking & Analytics
Track key campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue where applicable)
Compile and share weekly performance summaries with clear takeaways
Identify trends and highlight areas for improvement across campaigns
Support A/B testing efforts and apply learnings to future campaigns
Working Relationship
Work very closely with the Marketing Director on day-to-day campaign execution
Receive direction, feedback, and approvals on messaging and campaigns
Support the implementation of marketing strategy rather than owning it

Messaging improves through iteration and feedback
Marketing execution is streamlined, enabling greater focus on strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve campaigns, messaging, and systems, and brings forward thoughtful ideas for testing and iteration
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
1–3+ years in digital marketing or marketing operations
Strong attention to detail and organization
Strong copywriting ability (email/SMS)
Comfortable working with marketing performance data and using insights to improve campaigns

Preferred

Qualifications
Required
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
2–4+ years in digital marketing or campaign execution
Strong writing skills, particularly for email or SMS
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns
Comfortable working with marketing tools and basic analytics

Preferred
Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools

COMPENSATION
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience with a range of $40k-$55k a year
Bonuses may be awarded based on individual performance and organizational results.
